Year-to-date through July, total cattle imports were 1.3 million head, up +22.6% (242,123 head) from the same period in 2023.
Year-to-date through the first seven months of the year, cattle imports from Mexico were 853,976 head, an increase of +25.2% (171,942 head) from the same period last year.
From January through July, cattle imports from Canada were up +18.1% (70,122 head) from last year to 458,606 head.
